The Ollandoc is the guitar many people
confuse for the Languedoc. It is
a full hollow body with a 25 1/5 inch scale fast
slim neck -
24 medium jumbo frets on a 14 inch radius
Great News! Seymour Duncan's Custom Shop is
Making Pickups For the Ollandoc Guitars.
We have one of the best wiring harnesses found in ANY guitar.
If you look in the sound
hole of a Phred or other replica
Languedoc style guitars, you will
see a spider web of colored wiring but
then, I have seen colored wires in the
sound hole of a Languedoc.
We use all braided metal shielded wire routed
around the f holes and all USA made electronic
parts. There are eight wires coming from the
pickups, they need to be shielded from each
other for the perfect tone.
Our Ollandoc Model is Similar to the old 1975
Starcaster that the Languedoc that Trey Anastasio
of Phish plays was styled after. The offset body
was just resized. Some people call it a Languedoc Copy, Clone or Replica...
we just call it an Ollandoc!
Email me and I will send you some pics of what I
currently have in stock.
I am flexable and will work with you.
I can sell you a finished ready to play model,
a painted body and you install electronics/pickups
or a Ollandoc raw wood kit.
Prices can range from $395.00 plus shipping
for kits to my top of the line for
$1575.00 plus shipping. All Ollandocs's
come in a free hard shell case.
